  • Skills USA Stipend Request
    1. Mr. Stengle, the faculty advisor for Skills USA, introduced Sofie Grodman (Sophomore).  Sofie and 3 other students won their district competition and are headed to nationals in Atlanta.   The cost per student is $1,125; the district will pay 1/3; each family will donate $500 each; the club has also fundraised and they are asking the PSFA to provide a donation of at least $1,000 to cover the balance for all 4 students.   The PSFA asked additional questions and it was determined that $1,000 would not cover all of the costs.  The students exited the room and the PSFA discussed the matter and decided that, because our fundraising efforts were so strong this year we could provide additional funds and granted a $2,000 stipend to the club.  Any remaining balance will go into the Skills USA account for next year.
