PSFA Membership Information
The CHS Parent-Student-Faculty Association is open to all.
The PSFA supports ALL the students of CHS in a variety of ways. We average about 85% membership participation but would like to see it 100%. We hope every family can do its part to support the benefits the PSFA provides.
The PSFA offers three membership types
- Standard four year PSFA Membership is $130.
- Two year Design Academy Student membership. ($70)
- A Family Membership which offers a discount when a family has more than one student enrolled. ($70 for your second child)
In order to be eligible for one of the ten $500 scholarships awarded senior year by the PSFA, you must be a member for all four years (two years for Design Academy Students).
A prorated refund is available if your child leaves CHS. Graphic Design Academy parents are encouraged to join for their junior and senior years.
The PSFA benefits the students of CHS in the following ways.
- Transportation for all class trips (Freshmen through Senior!)
- Eligibility for ten $500 PSFA Graduation Awards presented each year to Seniors. (To be eligible, the student family must be PSFA members for the student’s tenure. Design Academy Student Families must be members for junior and senior years)
- Graduation caps/gowns for all seniors ($40+ value!)
- Financial Assistance for clubs such as the Drama Club and Skills USA
- PSFA Member Directory
- End of school year BBQ (Color Wars)
- Bagel Breakfasts prior to midterm/final exams
- Faculty Grants
- School Beautification
Above and beyond all this, joining the PSFA shows your support for your child’s decision to attend CHS. They will know you share with them the partnership of their education and high school experience alongside the CHS Faculty and Administration.
Be Active in the PSFA
As each class graduates every spring, so do the parent volunteers who support our children. So the PSFA is always looking for volunteers in any capacity. Help bring your skills and talents to help the PSFA improve your child’s experience at CHS.
