April 9, 2026

 

Executive Board Members Present

  • Call to Order.   President Patti Riddle called the meeting to order at 7:05pm.  The meeting was held virtually.   
  • SGA Report  – Kyla Kidorf  (VP)
      1. March Recap: SGA hosted the Fashion Show and we all just had a great break.   
      2. Upcoming – Tomorrow is the CCC Fest!  Spring Musical – Mean girls will be on April 24-25.  Spirit Week starts on May 4.   Marketing Period ends on March 14. 
      3. SGA is starting to plan for Color Wars in June and thank the PSFA for their support. 
  • Principal’s Report – Emily Bonilla
      1. NJGPA Testing for the Juniors was last month and went well. 
      2. NJDOE Testing will be scheduled in the months ahead along with additional statewide testing.   Emails will be sent home with the dates.   
      3. AP Testing are coming up in May and are all listed on the District Google Calendar. 
      4. Finals will be held on Tues, Wed and Thurs – June 16-18.   Finals will be by subject and not schedule periods.    More information to come.  The students will have a bagel breakfast then some study time with a morning exam, an hour lunch and then the second final in the afternoon.  
      5. Please remind your students to watch their attendance as we get towards the end of the year.    Also, if your senior has any tardy or attendance issues, they will need to stay the full day of school on the day of prom.    Prom dismissals will be distributed tomorrow.   The prom is on Thursday, May 28.  Reminder – school is in session on May 29.  This was a day that was added back to the calendar because of snow days. 
      6. Looking forward to Color Wars in June.    
      7. Freshman Orientation is happening next week.  We have 80 students that have accepted and we have 40 students on our wait list.   
      8. Our seniors are getting amazing acceptances!  It’s been so exciting to see all the college flags being posted in the cafeteria. 
      9. Senior Mentorship ends on June 3.   Senior Capstone Night is on June 10.   
  • President’s Report – Patti Riddle 
      1. April 15 is the Sophomore College Night.  
  • Spring Gala is on 4/22 and tickets must be purchased by tomorrow.  Tickets include a sit down dinner and there is a cash bar.  There are many gifts to take a chance!   
  • The NAHS Induction Ceremony is on April 29.  
  • Upcoming Senior Events: Prom is on May 21; Sr Awards Night is 5/27; Sr Trip on 6/11; and Sr Breakfast on 6/12. 
  • We are looking for the following chairs for the following positions for next year:  Fundraising Committee and Teacher Appreciation Committee.  
  • Spring Spirit Wear 
  •  We are getting ready for a new online sale starting on April 13 which will run through May 2 with expected delivery is May 22.  
  • We also have a products available for sale at orientation next week.  
  • Treasurer  – Hope Pressler
      1. Last month we paid the grants for the Ink Blot, Senior Trip, Driver’s Ed (which was covered by students who registered), Teacher Appreciation Gifts and new magnets for sale.   We have had funds coming in from the gift auction, spirit wear sales and membership dues.   We are budgeting for the many events coming up in May and June. 
  • Secretary’s Report – Melissa Skrocki 
    1. The minutes from the March meeting were posted on the website.  A motion was made to approve the minutes and the members unanimously approved the minutes.  

 

Our next meeting is on May 14 at 7pm at CHS.   We will have a doctor from Worriwell presenting before the meeting at 6pm regarding executive functioning and the programs that they offer to help students.
