Each year the PSFA seeks candidates who are willing to dedicate their time and talents to serve as officers in the organization. We encourage all PSFA members who are interested in helping their school to consider nominating themselves. In addition, if you know a PSFA parent who would be an asset to the Executive Board, please nominate them. All potential candidates must be active PSFA members.
The Executive Board consists of six positions that need to be filled:
- Two Co-Presidents who preside over the meetings
- One Recording Secretary who keeps the Minutes and attendance for all PSFA meetings
- One Treasurer who keeps accurate records of all PSFA monies and pays all approved bills for the PSA
- One Vice President who assists the Co-Presidents and is the Fundraising Chair
- One Corresponding Secretary who is responsible for sending out proper notices for all regular meetings and handling PSFA Correspondence
All nominations will be considered by the Nominating Committee, which will present the slate of candidates in April.
These candidates will be voted on at our PSFA General Meeting in May. To nominate a PSFA member, please email the PSFA at chs.psfa@gmail.com.
In addition, if you are interested in becoming a committee chair or co-chair, please let us know; all are welcome!
Committee chairs are appointed, not elected, so do not need to be formally nominated. Committees include: Alumni, Wine & Design, Hospitality, Dinner & Gift Auction, Membership, Newsletter, Parent-Student Activities, Bonfire, Color Wars, Public Relations, Swag and Enrichment/Education (Driver’s Ed, Catalyst SAT Prep) and Sweets by the Beach.
Nominations will be accepted up until the election date.

- Name of the candidate you’re nominating (including the student’s class year if known)
- The office you’re nominating that person for (Co-President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary or Corresponding Secretary)

- Any committees you’re interested in chairing/co-chairing
