CHS PSFA Meeting Minutes

Officers in Attendance: Kathleen Hernandez (Co-President); Melissa Fullowan (Co-President); Jaclyn Hsu (VP); Hope Pressler (Treasurer) 

  1. Call to Order and Welcome
    • Kathleen Hernandez, Co-President, called the meeting to order and welcomed all attendees.
    • Expression of Gratitude: She expressed gratitude to the parent community for their ongoing support of the PSFA’s initiatives.
  1. Co-President’s Report – Kat Hernandez & Melissa Fullowan
    • Membership Drive: An update was shared regarding the current status of the annual membership drive, highlighting steady participation from both returning and freshman families.
    • Volunteer Opportunities: Parents were encouraged to sign up for upcoming committees, including hospitality, fundraising, and student events.
  1. Financial Update & Budget Review – Hope Pressler
    • Treasurer’s Report: A detailed review of the current budget was presented, showing stable balances and healthy incoming revenue from recent donation drives.
    • Allocation of Funds: The Board discussed funding allocations dedicated directly to student enrichment programs, club grants, and teacher appreciation efforts.

    • Merchandise Sales: CHS branded apparel and merchandise sales are ongoing, with new items planned for the winter season.
